美国偶像第八季选手Adam Lambert 是美国偶像举办八年以来最受关注和最受争议的选手.在2009年美国偶像选秀还未决出年度冠军之时，他的名气就已经远远超过了其他参赛选手。每一周的美国偶像电视直播中，他都给观众带来全新的体验。他极度 华丽挥霍的嗓音，富于变化的舞台表演，吸引了全球观众和媒体的眼球。他用一场又一场演唱会级别的表演证明自己的实力。博彩公司为他夺冠开出的赔率甚至小于 1。2009年 参加美国FOX电视台的真人秀节目《美国偶像》比赛，惜败亚军，也是美国偶像历史上首个关注度和搜索率远超冠军的亚军选手。

这首no boundaries 是由一位美偶评委与其他两位音乐人共同创作，由当季的冠军Kris Allen与亚军Adam Lambert分别发行。歌曲婉转激昂，词作精彩，鼓舞人心。虽然不得不说的实话是Adam Lambert看上去很“娘”（只是我的审美观点），当然他也不负所望地被发现是位同志歌手。没有其他意思，只是相比当季冠军Kris Allen，两人给人的感觉到演绎的分格，相对更舒服的Kris Allen却没能唱出想象中的坚定，一如他经常的吉他下娓娓道来的是种安逸。反倒是Adam Lambert唱出了种激情，抑扬顿挫间深深牵动心弦。
